How we confirm it's your home
Rakhwali is only ever set up for a home you own or are authorised to look after. This protects you as much as us — no one can put your family home in a stranger's hands, and no one can pass off a house that isn't theirs.
Proof of ownership
A registered sale deed or registry, a recent property-tax receipt, or a utility bill in the owner's name.
Who you are
The owner's passport or Aadhaar. Acting for a parent? A simple signed authorisation letter is all we need.
Records & a visit
We cross-check municipal & mutation records and do a physical verification visit before the first watch.
Clear title only
We run an encumbrance/title check. Homes under active dispute, litigation, attachment or unresolved co-ownership aren't eligible until cleared.
If a home is under family dispute, litigation, or has more than one claimant, we don't take it on until the matter is resolved and documented — and if a dispute arises after we've started, we pause service and safeguard your position rather than take sides. We'll always tell you plainly what we find, and verified details are shared only with you (see our confidentiality promise). Full terms are in our Rakhwali eligibility clause.
