We have made the long flight home with elderly parents and worried about the same things you do: who is really picking us up, is the water safe, can we trust the people in the house. Police verification
No one is assigned to your family until they clear police character verification. We keep the certificate on file.
ID & licence
Aadhaar, driving licence and, for drivers, a commercial permit — numbers logged and shown to you.

Two references checked, and a briefing on elder care, discretion and hospitality before the first assignment.

Before anyone arrives, you get their photo, name and licence number on WhatsApp. No surprises at the gate.

Drivers you'd trust with your parents
We only hire drivers who don't drink, smoke or use drugs, with years of experience on Punjab's roads and a commercial licence. On time, careful, and patient with elders.
Cooks who respect your maryada
Punjabi home cooking the way your family likes it — and where your household observes it, we provide pure-vegetarian cooks and kitchen staff, with separate handling and utensils to keep religious purity and maryada fully intact. What is sacred to your family is treated as sacred by ours.
Briefed to your standards
Everyone we send is briefed on personal and kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and presentation, to the standard you keep at home abroad.

Coeliac or gluten-free, diabetic, nut or lactose allergy, Jain, pure-vegetarian, organic-only, low-oil, no onion-garlic, or a specific home regimen — tell us and your cook prepares to it exactly. Our team sources the right ingredients, including organic produce and the trusted brands you rely on, so nobody's health or comfort is ever a worry on the trip.
Punjabi, Hindi and English — so nobody feels like an outsider at home
Many younger travellers grew up abroad and speak more English than Punjabi. The team you deal with speaks Punjabi, Hindi and English and switches to whatever puts your family at ease, so children can find their way and elders hear their mother tongue.

For high-profile families, large cash purchases like jewellery and property, and those who simply want an extra layer of safety, the Jagirdar tier includes discreet personal security — arranged quietly, never for show.
A personal security officer, on request
On request we arrange a personal security officer through a licensed private security agency, for the day, an event or the whole trip: airport transfers, wedding functions, and jewellery or property dealings.
- Licensed agency: officers come through a licensed private security agency and are briefed on discretion before they meet you.
- Discreet by default: plain-clothed and low-profile — protection without drawing attention to your family or your movements.
- High-value occasions: ideal for wedding cash and gold, large bazaar or jewellery purchases, and property registrations.
- Secure transport: coordinated with your verified driver, with planned routes and a point of contact who knows your schedule.
- Female-staff option: female security personnel available for the ladies of the family on request.
- Total confidentiality: your identity, movements, purchases and property stay strictly private — shared with no one.
Personal security is arranged as an included benefit of the Jagirdar tier and as a paid add-on for other tiers, subject to availability and a short advance notice. Scope is agreed and documented before your visit.

Amanat is owned and run by Punjabi NRIs living in the US and Canada. You pay our North-American company, in your own currency, into a local bank — the single biggest worry families have, removed. We fund and manage the team in Punjab ourselves; your money never leaves for an unknown Indian account on trust.

Each agreement is a written contract you keep a copy of. If you need a notarised copy for use in India, ask and we will arrange it.

The agreement expressly grants no tenancy, occupancy or ownership rights — guarding against any encroachment, poaching or misuse of your property.

You receive copies of every agreement, staff ID and handover record. Nothing is verbal or off the books.
